Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Haridwar, has announced its official notification for the Apprentice Recruitment 2025–2026 batch. This is an incredible opportunity for engineering graduates and diploma holders to receive professional training at one of India's premier Maharatna PSUs.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Graduate Apprentice: B.E. / B.Tech in the relevant branch with at least 65% marks (60% for SC/ST).

    • Technician Apprentice: Diploma in the relevant branch with the same percentage criteria.

  • Age Limit (as of 01.02.2026):

    • Minimum Age: 18 years.

    • Maximum Age: 27 years for General/EWS.

    • Age Relaxation: OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (10 years).

Selection Process

The selection is strictly merit-based, and there is no written exam or interview. The merit list will be calculated based on the following weightage:

  • Graduation / Diploma Marks: 70% weightage.

  • High School (10th) Marks: 30% weightage.

Stipend & Benefits

  • Graduate Apprentice: ₹12,300 per month.

  • Technician Apprentice: ₹10,900 per month.

  • Training Period: One Year.

Step-by-Step Application Process

  1. NATS Registration: First, register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at nats.education.gov.in and obtain your Enrollment Number.

  2. BHEL Online Form: Visit the official BHEL Haridwar recruitment site at hwr.bhel.com/recruitment and complete the online application using your NATS ID.

  3. Submission of Documents: After the online submission, you must send a printed copy of the Acknowledgement Slip along with self-attested copies of all certificates to BHEL Haridwar by post.
