Total Vacancies: 549 Posts (Open for both Male and Female candidates).
Pay Scale: Level-3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100) plus allowances as per Central Government rules.
Nature of Job: Permanent, Group 'C' Non-Gazetted post.
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10th Class (Matriculation) or equivalent from a recognized board.
Sports Qualification: Candidates must have represented the Country/State/University in recognized International or National competitions.
Medals/Participation: Must have won a medal or participated in recognized tournaments in any of the listed sports (e.g., Athletics, Archery, Boxing, Football, Hockey, etc.).
Age Limit: 18 to 23 years. (Relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC as per government norms).
Unlike the general entry, the Sports Quota selection focuses heavily on athletic performance.
Checking of Testimonials/Documents: Verification of age, education, and sports certificates.
Physical Standard Test (PST):
Height (Male): 170 cm | Height (Female): 157 cm.
Chest (Male only): 80 cm (unexpanded) with 5 cm expansion.
Detailed Medical Examination (DME): To ensure the candidate meets the medical standards of the force.
Sports Trial: Candidates will be evaluated based on their skills and achievements in their respective sporting disciplines.
General/OBC/EWS: ₹100/-
SC/ST/Women: Exempted (Free to apply).
