Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have a 3-year Diploma or a Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
Punjabi Language: Must have passed Matriculation (10th) with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects.
Age Limit (as of 01.01.2025):
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 37 years (Relaxations for SC/ST/BC and other categories as per Punjab Govt. rules).
Selected candidates will be placed in a high-demand Group-B technical cadre.
Pay Level: Level-6
Monthly Basic Pay: ₹35,400/-
Total Emoluments: Including allowances (DA, HRA, etc.), the gross salary is highly competitive within the state service.
The selection is based purely on a single-stage Written Examination followed by document verification.
Exam Mode: Objective Type (MCQs).
Total Questions: 120 Questions.
Total Marks: 120 Marks.
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
Duration: 2 Hours (120 Minutes).
