Educational Qualification:
For GEA: Must have passed B.E./B.Tech in the relevant engineering branch from a recognized university.
For TA: Must have passed a Diploma in the relevant engineering branch.
Year of Passing: Generally, candidates who have passed their degree/diploma in 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible.
Age Limit (as of 31.12.2025):
Maximum Age: 25 years.
Relaxation: 3 years for OBC; 5 years for SC/ST; 10 years for PwD.
Merit-Based Shortlisting: Selection is based purely on the aggregate marks obtained in the Engineering Degree or Diploma.
No Exam/Interview: There is no written test or personal interview for this recruitment.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents at ECIL, Hyderabad.
NATS Portal Registration: Candidates must first register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal: nats.education.gov.in.

Priority Branch: As ECIL is an electronics-focused organization, the majority of seats (approx. 120 total) are reserved for Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) candidates.
Location: All 248 apprentices will be stationed at the ECIL Headquarters in Hyderabad for the duration of the one-year training.
Reservation: Vertical reservation (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and Horizontal reservation (PwD) will be applied to the above seat counts as per Government of India rules.
