The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has announced a specialized recruitment drive for Young Professionals (YPs) on a contract basis for the 2026 cycle. This is an excellent opportunity for dynamic graduates and post-graduates to work with India’s apex development bank.
NABARD is inviting online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Young Professionals in various specialized domains. This role is designed for individuals who want to contribute to rural development and agricultural finance while earning a high-value stipend.

Educational Qualification:
Post-Graduation (MA/M.Sc/MBA/PGDM) in relevant fields like Agriculture, Economics, Finance, Social Sciences, or Data Science.
Candidates with CA / ICWA / B.Tech in specialized streams may also apply.
Minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in Graduation and Post-Graduation.
Age Limit (as of 01.01.2026): * Minimum: 21 Years.
Maximum: 35 Years.
Experience (Optional): While freshers can apply, candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience in a reputed organization will be given preference.
Monthly Stipend: ₹70,000/- (Consolidated).
Other Benefits: No additional allowances like HRA or DA will be paid; however, YPs will be eligible for 12 days of leave per year.
Tenure: Initial contract for one year, extendable up to two additional years based on performance and bank requirements.
The selection is purely based on academic merit and professional interaction:
Shortlisting: Applications will be screened based on educational qualifications and experience.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Personal Interview (usually held at NABARD Head Office, Mumbai, or through virtual mode).
Final Merit: Prepared based on the interview performance.
