The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the notification for the NDA & NA (I) 2026. This is a premier opportunity for young aspirants to join the Indian Armed Forces as officers in the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Important Dates

• Application Start Date: 10 December 2025.

• Application Last Date: 30 December 2025 (until 06:00 PM).

• Written Exam Date: 12 April 2026 (Sunday).

• Admit Card Release: Expected in the last week of March 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Candidates must be unmarried and born between 2 July 2007 and 1 July 2010 (both dates inclusive).

• Educational Qualification:

  • Army Wing: 12th Class pass in any stream from a recognized board.

  • Navy & Air Force Wings: 12th Class pass with Physics and Mathematics.

  • Note: Candidates appearing in Class 12 in 2026 are also eligible to apply.

• Gender: Both male and female candidates are eligible.

Salary & Selection Process

• Initial Stipend/Salary: ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month (Level 10).

• Selection Stages:

  1. Written Examination: 900 Marks (Mathematics & General Ability Test).

  2. SSB Interview: 900 Marks (Intelligence & Personality Test).

  3. Medical Examination & Final Merit List.

Application Fee

• Gen/OBC/EWS: ₹100/-.

• SC/ST/Female Candidates/Wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs: Exempted from fee.
